General Motors' JT42-CTWR, better known as Class 66, has had a dramatic impact on the rail freight industry, not only in Britain but also in Mainland Europe. We feature all four current UK operators as well as venturing across the Channel to take a look at operations over there.

Full of variety and colour, the locos' day to day operations are shown alongside some of the more unusual duties the class works. From Par to Georgemas Junction and numerous locations in between, Route 66 is the story of Class 66.
