Sentimental Journeys simply oozes nostalgia. A mixture of on-train journeys and visits to lineside and stations show the British railway scene as it was more than half a century ago. You will visit lines long since closed, see locomotives and coaches long since scrapped and witness a wayof life long since forgotten.

Highlights include:
A trip along the Central Wales line to Swansea Victoria, followed by a visit to the oldest passenger-carrying railway in the world - the Mumbles Railway; a trip onto the Southern aboard a Birkenhead-Margate holiday train; a visit to Folkestone Harbour with views of the SS Canterbury being loaded and three SECR Class R1 shunters hauling a boat train up the formidable incline while a fourth banks the train; a variety of locos at Ramsgate; a visit and ride on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch; on board the Ian Allan Pennine Special, with 60157 to Leeds and a pair of Midland Compounds to Crewe; the SLS Birmingham tour with two Midland 0-6-0 2Fs visiting Harborne and Halesowen; a Britannia at Ely and another at Swindon; on board the last train from Monmouth to Ross-on-Wye in the snow; a trip over Beattock to Scotland; lineside action on the East Coast main line with a superb variety of Pacifics at York, Grantham and Arlesey; a trip along the sea wall at Dawlish and a 'King' hauling the Cornish Riviera on August Bank Holiday 1958; a tour from the Midlands to Eastleigh, with views of Oxford shed, the now-closed Didcot to Newbury line, Eastleigh shed and Swindon Town station . . . and named expresses departing from Paddington.

All this and plenty more will keep you entertained and bring the memories flooding back.
