We have teamed up with the Class 40 Preservation Society to celebrate their 25th anniversary. This exciting DVD features their class 40 - 40145 and it’s return to the mainline.

The programme is brought to you from on board the successful three day 'Silver Jubilee' railtour. You will see the story unfold of this epic 1000 mile railtour, with plenty of shots from the train interspersed with stunning lineside shots. We also look back at the loco's previous mainline tours.

My DVD arrived yesterday and I've just watched it for the second time. Lots of familiar faces and plenty of hellfire thrash. Doncaster through road on the Silver Jubilee Part 1 looked as awesome from off the train as it sounded on it! Excellent stuff, especially with the surround sound on!

Having just viewed my copy of the SILVER JUBILEE tour on dvd, I have to say that it was absolutely brilliant. I was particularly impressed with all of the lineside footage and, I have to agree with 40107 as regards David Maxey, his commentary just gets better and better..!!
